Our rentals are open-ended. Keep your canister for a day, a week, or your whole trip. Return it whenever you're done, or keep it for good and your deposit simply becomes the purchase price. No penalties, no awkward phone calls.

That flexibility is great for you, but it means we never know exactly when canisters are coming back, so we can't hold stock. All rentals are first come, first served at our locations. The good news is we keep our shelves well stocked, and running out is rare.

The smart move: fill out your check-in form and waiver online before you arrive. When you get to the counter, everything's ready. You'll be out the door and on the trail in minutes instead of standing around doing paperwork!

Before you complete your waiver, please take a moment to watch our short bear spray safety video. It explains when and how bear spray should be used, along with practical tips for avoiding negative wildlife encounters while exploring bear country.

Bear spray is an important safety tool, but it should only ever be used as a last resort during a close encounter with a bear or other aggressive wildlife. It must never be sprayed on people, pets, clothing, tents, backpacks, or gear.
